Thank you to all of the Bar Associations and other groups that supported the Arab American Bar Association at the press conference at the Chicago Bar Association today! We were amazed by the huge media presence and solidarity from our brother and sister organizations!  Look for us on the news this evening!

 At the Chicago Loop Synagogue today, the Arab Bar Association participated in a press conference to address the rising tide of anti-semitism and racist hate. 

Many lawyers groups participated, including the Decalogue Society of Lawyers, Cook County Bar, Chicago Bar, Black Women Lawyers, Hispanic Bar, and others.

 Thank you to the more than 100 judges who attended the Arab American Bar Association's Inaugural Judicial Reception at Al Hambra Palace Restaurant!  It was a beautiful evening with welcome remarks from AABAR President Donna Haddad and a presentation of AABAR's Equal Justice Award to Justice Anne Burke by Judge Sam Betar.  Marvet Sweis Drnovsek presented AABAR's Community Service Award to Chief Judge Timothy Evans.  Judge William Haddad closed out the evening.  Congratulations to Justice Anne Burke and Chief Judge Evans on their awards!
