Thanks to all the students, attorneys and judges who attended this exceptional presentation! Practioners from various fields offered valuable advice to our students as they prepared to apply for internships. The presentation was moderated by AABAR’s Student Liaison Sara Ghantous and our esteemed speakers included:
"The Dos and Don’ts of Applying for Legal Internships and Interviewing"
Thanks to all who attended this exceptional presentation! Presenters from various fields discussed the limits of and protections surrounding violent hate speech and its impact on minority communities.
The presentation was moderated by AABAR’s Judge William J. Haddad (ret.), IL Commission on Discrimination and Hate Crimes Commissioner Marvet Sweis and Prof. John Breen and our esteemed speakers included:

The Arab American Bar Association of Illinois, along with the Assyrian American Bar Association, and the Middle Eastern and North African Employee Resource Group from the Cook County State's Attorney's Office* were proud to host a night of networking, socializing, and (most importantly) PING PONG! Thank you to the over 100 judges, attorneys and students that attended the annual Unity Dinner jointly hosted by AABAR and the Muslim Bar Association of Chicago. We were honored to co-host this event this year with the South Asian Bar Association!
